The gigantic headache currently suffered by United Airline's PR team doesn't look like it will go away any time soon as more stories about their mistreatment of passengers start to emerge.
Geoff Fearns, 59, president of Tripacific Capital Advisors, has told of an incident a week before the infamous moment seen across the world where David Dao was forcibly dragged screaming from an overbooked flight. Fearns was threatened to be put in handcuffs if he didn't vacate his first-class seat to Los Angeles for "somebody more important".
If you feel the Gov is not working for you. forget R or D and focus on how to end LOBBYING. how to get the money out of elections. and perhaps single transferable votes.
Lobbying and money are the root of almost every single problem in the USA. From airlines treating you like junk, to paying twice as much to sell a house as almost any other nation. to the price of cable , ISP ,cells, Drugs etc.
Lobbyists write the bills, stuff them into the hands of Dems, Republicans all day every day. BOTH parties are in it.
End lobbying and donations that bind, politicians and you will find we can solve a lot of issues .
I think they need to re organize. This is stupid. They need to set new policies.
It is indeed utterly stupid. And if it takes an emotionally less-balanced person screaming to get anything done, then I say let's have some more screaming.
He should have tried to find out who the mystery VIP was. At this point I don't see how Munoz is going to get away with this scandal without turning in his resignation. Oh, well, he'll undoubtedly have a golden parachute when he bails out.

I don't think reorganization is the answer. The culture needs to change.
Employees currently are just mindless robots following orders who can't deal with unexpected circumstances that a pre-determined logistical system has dealt them. The employees need to be empowered to make their own smart decisions to put the customer first, whatever the case/cost to United because at the end of the day, this extra cost is very minimal. This requires United to change their policies to allow flexibility in decision making, not have a rigid system where you need 10 levels of approvals to get a refund or whatever.
