Just reported on CNN that Rex Tillerson had the following exchange with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov:

Quote:
With Russia's foreign minister sitting inches away from him, Tillerson said it's "fairly well-established" that Russia was involved in the hacking of the US election campaign.

"It is a serious issue. It is one that we know," Tillerson said.

"Not a single fact has been confirmed," Lavrov said.

Yup. And even more shocking is that Trump actually made a disparaging remark about Putin going as far as calling him an animal. Think this may be the first negative comment he made about the Russian leader since taking office. What gives. Have the oligarchs called in Trump's loans ?

The hacking into the DNC has always been known... Podesta was compromised by a phishing email, where he gave up his credentials.

The collusion between Trump and Russia has never been proven.

Saying that Russia hacked a server is one thing...out and out stating that the Russians meddled in the U.S. presidential election...that takes it to another, much higher level.

And at the end of it all, it may be shown that there is no evidence that Trump himself directly colluded with the Russians.

However, there's all those people who were in the Trump campaign who are still being investigated...

Ronald Reagan survived Iran-Contra, Donald Trump might survive this.

The term you used in the OP was "hacking" - which they likely did - which is different from the claims of collusion.

The opposition has had months of data and surveillance (both legal and illegal) to go through, and there is no evidence. Every Democrat who has seen the actual data ends up backing away from claiming any wrongdoing. This is a total fishing expedition at this point.

I didn't use "hacking", the CNN reporter did, paraphrasing Rex Tillerson. And Tillerson meant that the Russians hacked the election, not the DNC servers.

As for charges of collusion, I didn't make that claim here in this thread.

So you're saying that you don't believe U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, nominated by President Donald Trump and confirmed by a Republican-controlled Senate?

You find Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, more believeable?

Just because you haven't seen it or it hasn't been made public does not mean that it doesn't exist.

Ups.....

Was it an accident, or is it simply not convenient to lie about it anymore?

The words were "Russia Meddled in US Election"

Collusion?

Several people from Trump campaign were forced to resign after it was revealed they colluded with the Russians.
