Surprise! What a shocker!

Now please tell me which race DOES wanna work at IHOP....go ahead! SMH

It's Los Angeles... not Tulsa, Abilene or Topeka where it's a desirable job and IHOP is gourmet eating!
According to the author of the article:

I think that Black people aren’t being hired at this IHOP location either they are being disqualified based on their background checks or more likely their inability to speak Spanish. I also observed that all of the servers and kitchen staff spoke Spanish on and off the floor to each other and other Spanish speaking patrons.
Oh, and according to the black author, black people enjoy eating at IHOP.

Do black people think IHOP is 'gourmet eating'?

Well, unless you believe Applebees is located inside their home, they are dining out.

Nope -- dining is when you make an occasion to enjoy fine food, wine and company.

Applebee's is grabbing a bite to eat at a disgusting restaurant.

But because some here may not understand the subtle nuance of dining and eating.......

'Like our white friends who think Applebee's is fine dining on a Friday night before the football game.

(and yes I know folks in middle America that think a big night out for a nice dinner is Applebee's).

Not feeling the IHOP manager on this one. Could be just a California thing. I'm in Hilton Head frequently to help my elderly Mom, she LOVES! IHOP, so it's an automatic stop for brunch after I take her to Church every Sunday morning. The IHOP on 278 near Kroger has many Black employees, and they're all wonderful. Without exception. Excellent service, so they get big tips from me (having worked my way through college as a waitress, myself, and have acquired the means to give back).

So, in other words, you don't know the definition of dine.

Y'all need to check your privilege, I know tons of people who make six figures and frequent IHOP, but then again I live in Texas, so I don't know if that is the norm for people who make that much. But my point is IHOP isnt world class but a meal is a meal.
