The Syrian air force hit the same hospital twice in three days, once during the disputed April 4 airstrike and again two days later. It's been reported in the US press on the reporting of the events when they occurred. The reporting of accusations are a completely different matter.
"Army and the Marine Corps recruited significantly more felons into their ranks in 2007 than in 2006, including people convicted of armed robbery, arson and burglary, "
Child Abusers?
"he Army also listed a handful of felony waivers granted for kidnapping, making terroristic threats, rape or sexual abuse, and indecent acts or liberties with a child."
"To reach its recruiting targets, the Army has had to soften many of its requirements. It now allows in more recruits who did not graduate from high school and who received lower test scores in their service entry exams. Recruits are older and less physically fit. And there are more people in the service with medical conditions that would have otherwise disqualified their enlistment."
So - not to go "all Trump" on your - but all of you are wrong and I am right.....
The deal here is simple. 9/11 was the type of event that made normal Americans sign up. But when it was obvious that was a lie (WMD) and that victory was not coming, recruitment fell off and the standards were lowered.
There are only a few ways you can get more troops to fight a war like this (when homeland is not attacked, etc.)
1. Create a false crisis where you make "patriots" (who may have been intentionally fooled) sign up.
2. Start a Draft
3. Lower Standards a LOT...
4. Along with #3 you pay BIG bonuses (they did)...basically you are taking the poor people (Trumps uneducated forgotten men and women) and offering them a single chunk of more money then they've ever seen in their lives.
None of it will work out wel economically. They don't even have to kill any of us - rather they are breaking the bank which foments revolution here (notice anything different here since forever war started?)....
I have no ideas what point you are trying to make.
Here is the requirement to join the Army
To enlist, you must be a U.S. citizen or a resident alien.
Meet exacting physical, mental, and moral standards.
Be between the ages of 17-29. ...
Have a high school diploma.
Take and pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
Pass a Military Entrance Processing Station medical exam.
Exception is not the rule
My brother served in the early 90s. He was a straight A student, but he wanted to be a Marine (childhood dream) He was a Recon (special force) Marine, and he graduated from Berkeley after finishing his military service. My cousin on the other hand, was also a straight A student. He didn't make the Army basic training. Military service is not for him, period.
Funny thing is that my cousin became an anti-war activist after that, LOL always demonizing the military service members LOL What a loser!
I backed up where we bombed the hospital. You read something in my statement that was never there.
Dead is dead is dead. Why is one action acceptable but not another when it comes to innocent dead.
No you didn't and you doing a Donald Trump type 'If I say it enough it will be true " can't help you.The bomb we dropped did not hit a hospital.NOW PLEASE answer ,who used the syrian gas on the syrian people ???

I NEVER SAID IT DID. Read what is there, not what you want to be there.
They (international communities, American social justice warriors) expect zero civilian casualty. Yeah, right, good luck with that!
Middle east is pissed, Americans are in debt, soldiers are dead and some still blame them for committing war crimes.
Not worth it. Take our troops home, and let's move on already.

When the military needs recruits those requirements get changed, that was the case for Vietnam and when we first started the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The 1990's and the last several years are quite different than other years, back in 2003 they had a problem getting recruits and granted waivers and gave financial incentives. There were 8000 waivers in 2006.
If the military adhered to the standards we would never be able to get a good war off the ground, peacetime is another story.
Quote:
WASHINGTON — Nearly 12 percent of U.S. Army recruits who entered basic training this year needed a special waiver for those with criminal records, a dramatic increase over last year and more than twice the percentage four years ago, according to new Army statistics obtained by the Globe.
