The extreme bias of the media is despicable....I distrust everything they do.

There are thousands of charges for sexual molestation being pursued at any point in time.

What makes this one more worthy of national attention than the others?

That the guy was a Democrat?

That he once served as the mayor of town with a population of 7800, years before he raped the 4 year old?

That he is a self- described man of faith?

Now you can all argue it's only a Dem problem like when a Rep is caught, but we all know it's a human problem.

Only thing I see that's different is the press covers for the Dems when it happens and they splash it all over the front page when a Rep does it.

Still disgusting it happened.

The initial story is also from last year, The Washinton Post covered it when he was charged.

He is also a self- described man of faith dedicated to Christ.

Certainly does not mean his actions are typical of people of faith any more than it means it's typical of Democrats or former mayors of small towns, anywhere.

There's obviously more to this story than is being reported anywhere. The 4 year old is likely a relative, maybe a close relative, as in grandchild, given the sicko claims the abuse began when the child walked in on him while he was in the bathroom.

Too bad animals like this are prevented from serving their time with the general prison population.

He was a short term mayor of a small town years before this particular crime.

This has all to do with one seriously whacked guy and nothing to do with his politics, former job or religious beliefs. They come in all sizes, shapes and ideologies and walk amongst us.

Maybe it's not media blackout, instead maybe the left considers this accepted so they don't see it as anything worth reporting.

This is not the first time that someone has alleged the mayor previously paid for sex with under aged males. Nothing came from the other claims.

All accusers have substantial criminal records.

Based on this very recent lawsuit and nothing else, it appears you have jumped to the conclusion he is guilty and should be removed from office. I sincerely hope you never serve on a jury given you do not need facts to convict.

Donald Trump was accused of raping a 13 year old girl, and while Trump was running for president it was a active case in the US court system. But no local or national media group covered the story (but if this case involved the Clinton's there's a good chance that news story would have made it on TV.)

Republicans practice supply side/trickle down economics which are tax cuts for large corporations and the very wealthy. And since mainstream media groups are large corporations and their CEO's are very wealthy, all the mainstream media groups have a financial incentive to protect republicans.

Yes the rape of a 4 year old from 2013 should be national news, let the family make the rounds on Fox News. Extreme Bias, Despicable it's important to keep this in the forefront regardless of the fact that she is now 7.
