The Veterans Affairs hospital in Washington, D.C., is so disorganized and understaffed that operations were delayed and patients put at serious risk, inspectors reported.

Staff have had to borrow equipment from private hospitals, plunder supplies and use their own purchase cards to buy essential equipment, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) report found.

Obama left a LOT of "messes" that need to be cleaned up.

Why wouldn't that have been addressed immediately?

That's an easy fix.

Sorry we do NOT work on "instant gratification" like most millennials want.

Keep in mind, it took Obama and the dems almost 19 MONTHS to get O Care passed and THEY had complete control of the WH and both Houses of Congress.

There seems to be a lot of things the dems want NOW that Obama DIDN'T do when THEY had control.

WE hears a LOT of demanding NOW but, NONE when Obama didn't do what they wanted then.

Hmm, I wonder why?

Oh please, this is minor to what went on under Bush, do you recall the Walter Reed Hospital debacle and the deplorable conditions back in 2005 when Robert Gates fired the officers in the VA.

The system wasn't handling the veterans from Vietnam and we started yet another war being unprepared. The VA is in much better shape than it has been but certainly not on a level of private care. Taking one anecdote and generalizing does not amount to data.

This will be addressed as have other deficiencies, these employees need to be fired we will see if that actually happens months down the road.

The saying "It's the govt, stupid" comes to mind when reading these "my team is better than your team" posts.

Agreed. Bring the troops home and used that saved money to take care of Americans. Especially those in the military.

Actually it would cost less money overall if we brought the troops home.

I think if Trump just cut his secret service bill in half and sent that over to the VA, they'd be able to make some good improvements.
