I don't really consider her a public figure. She was a child in the white house. Does that make her a public figure now because she is an adult? When was the last time you read about her in the news.

And let's see ... I read about her in the news when she says moronic things on twitter, when she earns tens of thousands of dollars in speaking fees, when her books get bad reviews, when she ends up on the cover of Variety for doing pretty much nothing ... etc. etc.

Only if you make her one. She is never on the news in my area. And twitter doesn't count. Twitter is what is getting Trump into so much trouble.
Considering that Trump has put his children and their spouses in government, on our tax rolls and all over the world at our expense, plus they whine if we don't buy their clothes, I really don't mind if there's an interview with Chelsea Clinton. There's one of her and with Trump's three wives and three families, there's practically a dozen Trumps.

His son in law is a high profile member of his admin. Less experience that Obama or Trump coming in and now traveling all over playing games with US policy, just because he's married into the Trump clan of corruption and nepotism.
His daughter now is too. So nice of them not to "take a salary" since they are now running US policy and in a position to make a killing in their continued business dealings, where they're already close to billionaires. She could at least start by levying taxes on herself for manufacturing all her clothing in some cheap Chinese sweatshops.
His two sons are traveling the globe making Trump Inc. business deals with the same players daddy is negotiating international policy with. And they get taxpayer-funded travel and security protection on all their business trips.
Anyone who looked askance at "Hillary Inc" and now ignores the most corrupt, nepotistic presidential arrangement in the history of the nation has to be an idiot.

And what qualifications put them there other than she is Trump's daughter and he is her husband? It is doubtful anyone is under the illusion that they won't benefit by working without salary. They are not a charity and they still benefit from Trump's business tremendously.
Well, this is as likely as Oprah being the next president. Actually Oprah is more likely. Never gonna happen, ever.
