I guess they expect to get the hispanic vote to make up for losing blue collar white voters.
Problem is that Hispanic people have conservative, pro-life values. As soon as they get a leg up financially where they don't need welfare or food stamps they will vote Republican.
Considering Canada is may legalize Marijuana possession soon we will need a Great Big WALL along our entire Northern and Alaska border to keep that pernicious drug from being smuggled to the US from Canada.
The places that put Trump over the hump hardly are losing jobs to "hispanics". There are relatively few of them in the rust belt. Go to Texas, Arizona, California. Now that's Hispanics! Just about every other person you see on the street. Texas, Arizona, and California are all doing well with lots of jobs available. They can't find enough workers to keep up with demand for new homes, shopping, hospitals, and infrastructure. Hundreds of new people move to Phoenix every day of the year. So immigration can't explain it. Dare one suggest that immigration is a good thing like the economists do. The people who lost their jobs and live a hopeless existence lost them to corporate profiteers who moved the jobs out of the country - mostly to China. Nothing came to take their place. Nothing will.

I would hand California over to Mexico if they would pay for the entire wall. Except not tell the California citizens until after the wall is built that they are actually OUT of the country. They aren't real bright, they probably do not know what a border is.

Probably true, unfortunately. And then they'll look down on all the "lazy welfare bums" just like our home-grown religious conservatives.
That's why big business interests love religious conservatives: they act against (and vote against) their own interests. The belief in the "pie in the sky when you die" is great for capital; not so great for labor.
Nope, just wondering why a black or Hispanic person isnt considered a hard working person in the eyes of the OP, and why only the Hispanic immigrants exist in his or her eyes

Yep. They toss around "white working class" as if whites are the only working people in this country.
Frankly, a lot of conservatives actually believe that to be true. Maybe even most conservatives.

I don't think so. The majority of Hispanics who have roots from south of our border want amnesty for their illegal amigos. That will keep them voting for the Democrats for some time.
