Calling someone by an inaccurate name is somewhat different than calling an entire branch of the military "corpses".
Considerably worse, yes. Obama used the correct word, in the correct context, and merely had the pronunciation wrong. This sometimes happens to people who read, so I guess Trump is in the clear on that one.
Incidentally, corpsmen do not form "an entire branch of the military", ironically making it clear that President Obama is better informed on military matters than you are.
He didn't misspeak. He was talking about two different people at once. It's not that hard to follow if you open your mind from your anti-Trump worldview.

Things are bad for the haters when they have to come up with stuff like this.
During the 2008 campaign, Obama referred to having visited 57 states with one to go.
It's still brought up as evidence he was unaware of the number of states.
All candidates, nominees and presidents make verbal gaffes. Those who support, dismiss the gaffes. Those who do not support use the gaffes as evidence of diminished cognition.
She's the highest quality person I've ever encountered in my life, and other family members would probably say the same. It took my grandfather a looooong time to convince my grandmother to marry him. He was one of the happiest people I've ever encountered. If anyone asked him why he was so happy (he could have come up with a laundry list of things, all of which he made happen), he would say "because of who I'm married to". I had terrible parents, but I had the most wonderful grandparents anyone could wish for in 100 lifetimes. When my grandfather died, they had been married for over 60 years, and had been together for almost 70 years (they met while attending the same university).
