His salary form Fox is always reported as being 18 million.
O'Reilly created the Fox viewership. I don't know that they will lose their followers now -- I don't think so...but he brought them in -- front and center.
I suspect he will get a nice package to retire with -- he's no spring chicken. He can co-write all those books and spend time on the book tour.
The guy was good for the company. I am sure they are grateful.
He's made plenty of money, he truly is one of the monetary elite in this country.
I used to watch him many years ago. I couldn't stand the headaches I was plagued with.
I got rid of cable, went on a media fast, and the headaches mostly went away. Now when I catch (inadvertently mostly) O'Reilly's spiel on Youtube it makes me feel a bit queasy and I have to turn it off. I guess I OD'd on him back then.
He might need a hobby now that he will not be a paid performance artist anymore. Possibly he will do speaking engagements, I am sure he will be in demand.
Grabbing a woman's crotch is just building a poor foundation of your house that will crumble in time. As his and so many others that acted so above everyone else.
Has Bill O'Reilly ever gotten a woman fired? If not, I'm not sure why these so-called strong women cowered in his presence. Just tell off the jerk if it is true. I'm not feeling the sympathy for them if their first reaction is to run to a lawyer. O'Reilly makes a lot of money for a lot of people by being on the job. I'm not sure if their inability to handle words coming out of his mouth is worth the damage to all of the other people who benefit from his book sales, charities, employment, etc..
They all can't be Fake News CNN....got so bad they got blocked on my tv. Oh and you should watch that flaming liberal Shepard Smith if you think everyone on fox is right wing.
