Yes, Psilocybin should be legal.

I've used 10mg of 4-AcO-DMT (which is very close to psilocybin except without any nausea to speak of) as a
'micro-dose' from time to time (as opposed to the 35mg to 75mg I've used when seeking a full-blown psychedelic experience). Never when working or driving, but I have when out in social settings or applying myself to a creative project at home. In the right context, it is a bit liberating mentally without being incapacitating.

Education and responsible usage are key, as always.

Psilocybin and its analogues show great promise in treating PTSD, end-of-life issues, addiction, etc. It is part of the toolkit of the mind we find ourselves with, and turning up our nose at it or vilifying it as a common "drug" is idiotic and serves no one well.

It's the same with Ketamine. It's done wonders for people who have had life long depression when nothing else works.

Played softball doing shrooms in my misspent youth. Went 3 for 3, no errors in the field. It was like everything was moving in slow motion. I swear I could have hit a Nolan Ryan fastball that day.

Even now I like to take the edge off reality at times but it is 2 or 3 beers.

I post here. But seriously, I don't have a personal crappy reality to escape from because I've improved mine from the general crappy reality in which we live, without being a drug addict.

Then there are the cases of psilocybin/MDMA/LSD/Ayahuasca, all treating and effectively ENDING PTSD within people who have struggled with it. MANY Scholarly articles on the topic.

Magic Mushrooms are also being used with those who are terminally ill to help combat the feeling of loss and ease the transition. Many people have reported that after their trips, they are comfortable with their passing and just feel better in general about their situations. Again, I can believe this as humans have used some of these substances to be with the Gods for all of time, so it's just a modern version of it. Science has proven that they way it interacts in the brain, makes areas more active, and connected, more whole.

Pretty fascinating stuff, imo. Though, I've always thought psychedelics are like reality, in a very high dose, they open your eyes to things that were there all along, but you were blind to. After complete ego death, some truly life changing moments of clarity can be found and will change you, your perceptions, and the way you view the the world around you. I know there are a bunch of old school, bigoted, closed mindset people on here, and it's people like that that could benefit the most from the experience. If they only knew.
Oh here we go, the "medicinal" argument. I also hear that heroin is a good pain killer.

Here we go with the imbecilic "zero tolerance zero thought" false equivalency routine.

In controlled circumstances, maybe it is. But since Trump wants to reduce the amount of funding that NIH gets for research we may never know.

I have plenty of thought on the subject which has left me with zero tolerance because I've seen the results of these pro-drug policies. And we have all now seen the result of the medical marijuana BS that has essentially led to complete decriminalize in some places.
