Well I'm asking now! Prove that the consequences for hating on Trump are the same for hating on Obama. No chance in hell! A painting of a be-headed Obama or any other death depiction would not survive on any university campus in the US! It would also make national headlines!
well, since your using exclamation marks...then that pretty much settles that.
A bad painting in alaska, one of the reddest states in the country, a state where trump crushed hillary, isnt going to change much . No state has voted for a Democratic presidential candidate fewer times.
This does not belong in a K-12 Public School any more than a painting of a Christ on a Cross does. Inappropriate. Does a Teacher, or anyone else, have the right to wear a picture of a beheaded Trump out in public? Absolutely. Free Speech. There are Pinanta's of Trump that can be beaten with a stick. Classrooms? No. In Demonstrations? Yes. Same as burning the American Flag.
This might be a different story if it was in a Political Science course at a College. Professors like to stir up students to encourage debates. All Adults there, and the class itself warrants it. I know that a lot of Conservatives complain of "brainwashing" at Liberal Colleges, but I can tell you that a Conservative Professor I had (over 40 student myself) at a Liberal College seemed to thorough enjoy being challenged, especially by the older students. It got the younger students to participate in class. A college education is worthless if you never learn to express yourself.
The HS art teacher should be reprimanded or punished if wearing of politically charged clothing is prohibited in that school. If politically charged statements and clothing with messages on them are not prohibited for faculty, they need to update their policies.

West Virginia is one of the 45 states that allows collective bargaining for public school teachers. The first place to look might be any agreement that might be in place.
She is being Politically Correct- as long as one fits into this category, whatever they do is okay- according to liberals.
