The liberal " students" at Berkeley have failed to stop Ann Coulter from speaking at Berkeley. The hooded and often seen violent protesters were threatening violence if Ms. Coulter spoke but the university wasn't intimidated. The liberal, alt-left violent protesters will come on campus and shake up the young democrat snowflakes but maybe democracy and free speech will win this time.

“Our police department has made it clear that they have very specific intelligence regarding threats that could pose a grave danger to the speaker, attendees and those who may wish to lawfully protest this event,” said Berkeley chancellor Nicholas Dirks.
The inmates are running your asylum Nicky. And your institution of "higher learning" is a joke.

What do these protesting students fear? I think they fear that they have been lied to by the Left and that speakers like Ann Coulter might actually be telling them the truth and that scares them all the way back to their safe spaces.

The truth can be scary.
Why are the violent protesters so intent on shutting down anyone who tries to present an alternative view point.
What are they so afraid of? That people might actually start thinking for themselves?

and they call Trump a Nazi Fascist ?

Coulter has no moral compass and says the most vile, disgusting things and she makes millions selling this trash to a certain segment of the population. But, in the country, she has a right to be a morally corrupt trash. I don't think she believes half of what she spouts. Regardless, this black bloc and Anifa need to crawl back under a rock. They are scaring me more than some hicks that support Trump. It would of been a better tactic to ignore these speakers like we all ignore the mentally ill on the street.

Berkeley kept adding on requirements for Anne to agree to in the hopes she'd back out of her speaking gig, she agreed to all of them. Lacking another option they just cancelled the event. She said she's going anyway, Berkeley is just trying (badly) to save face.

Berkely has been setting a really dangerous precedent by allowing a violent element to dictate who can and cannot speak there.

Because other groups are going to copy that tactic.

So before you get all giggly about keeping out an Anne Coulter, next time it might be a far right group keeping out Al Franken or Al Sharpton etc. etc.

It's an ugly, un-American slippery slope of capitulation.

If I'm running Berkley I allow her to speak, I bring in a horde of police and I arrest the crap out of anyone doing anything illegal and announce ahead of time that any criminal action by a student will result in expulsion.

Although this was the first Berkeley post, everyone has opinions on it. Hope she speaks and the university gets torched to the ground.

Coulter is a performance artist, always has been. Liberals have been feeding her flame for 20 years now by continuing to have this reaction for her.

YAF sent them a letter threatening litigation if they don't comply by 5pm today...which was 45 minutes ago.

YAF to Berkeley: Honor First Amendment or Face Litigation - Young America's Foundation

They are not accepting the later date or different venue.

I was referring to the 5 or so threads also on liberals at Berkeley that can't have free speech and want censorship. Aka "snowflakes"
