From the rightie alternate reality comes a lesson in total delusion.
Repubs have the majority Polse (?) and Schumer dont have the votes to block anything.

The idea that if you worked you have insurance is just BS.

There were/are all sorts of people who work at jobs that don't include health care benefits.

If the Democrats could block anything, I suspect they would have blocked putting the Heritage Foundation's corporate shill on the Supreme Court.

Ah, "evolves." That's Newspeak in the Trump world. I guess used car salesmen evolve too. Let's look at some of that 'evolution:'

In the campaign #45 said he was going to make health care terrific -- a fraction of the cost and better coverage. As prez, he backed a plan to throw 24 million Americans off health insurance that was more expensive and didn't even cover preexisting conditions.

During the campaign #45 said NATO wasn't relevant. Nothing changes. Now he says NATO is relevant.

During the campaign #45 said China was a currency manipulator. Nothing changes. Now he says China isn't a currency manipulator.

One of his first acts was freezing federal hiring. He reversed that.

During the campaign he whined about lobbyists entering government. Now, he appointed lobbyists.

I don't have the time nor energy to complete a complete list, as it would be long.

The bottom line is he isn't evolving. He knew nothing before and is now running hard into reality. His flips on what he promised can't be described as anything but lying.

And you are fine with illegals draining our system with free everything.. they have anchor babies to pay their cost of living expenses and keep their paycheck for entertainment and pocket change.

9th circuit court stopping Trump.. that is fine. Trump will go to the supreme court and overturn .

Ryan is a rino.. not a true conservative. He admitted he is more of a liberal progressive. Time to drain the swamp of all these dirty anti-American liberal creeps.

The true conservatives do not like Obamalight. Glad it did not pass.

There will be a wall. There will be a tax cut. There will be a pipeline. There will be land given back to the people. There will be coal because the regulations have been lifted to kill it.

There will be more jobs, more prosperity, better times.

Trump is just rolling up his sleeves to tackle the big ones.

That is indeed the simplistic uniformed view. The reality is a bit different.

Trump and the GOP want to lower taxes for the rich. They thought that they could get a large chunk of that by repealing Obamacare, which taxes rich people. They failed at that.

Now, to get the tax-cut passed in the Senate and avoid a Democratic filibuster, they need to pass it with reconciliation -- a 51 vote majority. To do so the tax bill would have to not increase the deficit beyond 10 years. Unfortunately, the tax-bill increases the deficit heavily beyond 10 years.

Beyond that, who says that even GOP representatives agree with Trump? The Trumpcare bill was torpedoes by Republicans. Democrats just sat back and watched (and laughed.) The major opposition for the Trump wall is from Republicans in the districts on the border. Trump's tax-plan calls for elimination of state income taxes as a federal deduction. Why would Republicans in CA, NY and NJ vote for that?

For a guy that called himself the best dealmaker, he sure doesn't see to be able to make deals.

I love reading these conservative fantasies.

1. Presuming how the SCOTUS will vote is a losers game. Many who thought that they knew were disappointed.

2. If Ryan is a RINO, how radical are true conservatives? Ryan is a Aynn Rand believer. He wants to turn Medicare into a voucher program. He wants to gut Social Security and give huge tax breaks to the rich. That's EXACTLY conservative's agenda.

3. The major opposition for the Trump wall is from Republicans in the districts on the border. It's already been punted.

4. Coal is being killed by capitalism, not evil liberal regulations that keep the water and air clean. Coal just can't compete against fracking. Besides, there are 75,000 coal jobs compared to 600,000 solar jobs in America. Tell us why coal is the future?

5. "There will be land given back to the people." TRANSLATION: Federal lands (ours) will be given or sold cheaply to rich people or corporations.

6. I have no idea why you think a tax-cut for rich people is just what the doctor ordered. It just means a bigger deficit and the middle class have to get services cut.

7. There is no reason to think that any of those right-wing idea, even if passed, will yield more jobs more prosperity. We've seen that movie before and the ending is always disappointing.

Trump isn't a negotiator. He's a liar and a bully.

Trump lies to people to convince them to sign the contract. Then "renegotiates," i.e. refuses to pay what he agreed to in the contract and tells people to take him to court if they want to get paid the full agreed-upon amount. The contractors on the DC hotel are suing him for non-payment. Investors in his Toronto hotel are suing him for fraud. .... the list goes on.
