Is the left wing media going to go into snippy mode?
Maybe the media won't, but I will. What a big sissy crybaby he is. He is a classic " dish it out, but can't take it" bully. The kind we all liked seeing getting their comeuppance after school.

His ego, as a person with narcissistic personality disorder ( not his fault, it tends to be inherited, and formed by early experience) cannot take criticism, and especially not ridicule, even when it's a joke.

When is the last time you saw that man laugh? Not a smirk. A real laugh? Never? Me neither. He's not a happy man. NPD is not easy to live with.

So yeah..since your selective outrage over the current President doesn't extend to the prior "Embarrasment in chief"

Give me a break
Bad idea to bring up the personal protection and travel expenses. Trump, and his family, are on schedule to spend more this year than the Obama family spent in two whole terms ( 8 years ). Justify that?

While we are waiting for Republicans to pop up and explain that Trump has a perfect right to spend taxpayers money to market Mar-a-Lago every weekend, perhaps someone could explain why Trump is holding campaign rallies for an election four years from now?

Security zone[edit]
When the President is in residence the Palm Beach region becomes a zone of temporary flight restrictions[36] affecting flights and air operations severely within a 30 nautical mile radius (nmr) (55.56 km).[37] Coast Guard and Secret Service secure the two waterway approaches, ocean and lake, and Secret Service cordons off streets to Mar-a-Lago during the President's visits.[38] By the third weekend in February 2017, nearby Palm Beach County Park Airport (Lantana Airport) had been shut down for three consecutive weekends accumulating significant financial losses for multiple businesses.[39]

So maybe Fox and C-Span will cover it.

And the Correspondents Dinner could not have picked a better comedian. Perfect.
No one from the White House is attending. So they will have all of these Hollywood types and all of the lib media outfits all in one room with some comedian I never heard of. Now the real question is which cable news channels will cover which event live? Luckily for us deplorables we have Right Side Broadcasting who will undoubtedly stream the Trump rally live regardless of the TV cable channels and the snooty goofballs in formal attire. I suspect the rally may be around something the President said will happen this week...and it is in Pennsylvania...

Why is he holding a rally? I thought the election is over.

Even thought he said that the other day, he only means that the opposition should stop talking about the election. After all, he's already running for re-election. Wonder how that will work out?

Democrats Have Big Enthusiasm Edge for 2018

PPP's newest national poll finds that the Democratic enthusiasm that led to strong finishes in special elections in Georgia and Kansas over the last week is a national phenomenon.
Democrats lead the generic Congressional ballot 47-41. But what's more notable is the enthusiasm imbalance. 63% of Democrats say they're 'very excited' about voting in the 2018 election, compared to only 52% of Republicans who express that sentiment.

One reason for the comparative lack of Republican excitement may be the continued unpopularity of Donald Trump. "

He needs to hold his base together somehow. Everyone else is sick of him.

It's a sign he recognizes his weak position.
