I can't believe I forgot about Trump University. You're right, he's not only convinced them that he's one of them, he's made them forget that he screwed them over.

Masterstroke

Does not matter if only 1 person showed up. The fact that Trump publically snubbed the elitist jerk media by not kow-towing to them shows that we have an actual leader, not a ultra cucked beta loser like O'racist.

You don't get it. The dinner still happened, they didn't care he wasn't there. The only thing he accomplished was having people shake their heads & laugh at him.

Trump went to the White House Correspondents Dinner before he became POTUS and actually lived (when not at Mar-a-Lago) in the White House. Didn't seem to want to hang with the regular people back then. This rally was just an excuse for Trump to skip the dinner and avoid criticism in person. He would much rather face an adoring crowd of cultists. Not surprising for such a little man.

Well actually it does matter, although only one person showing up would have been even more hilarious. In any case, Trump is an utter catastrophe, you should be ashamed of him.

Its Pennsylvania, and Trump was the first Republican to win it since 1988, so its not supposed to be a predominantly red state anyway.
Plus we aren't in an election campaign, so the crowds are supposed to be smaller.
Imagine if Hillary did a rally today lol.

Why does a President owe the press more attention than the 300+ million other citizens in the country?

HAHAH..Trump announces that he will hold a big rally in PA on the night of the correspondents dinner

Is the left wing media going to go into snippy mode?
I'll go into common sense mode.

What's he holding a rally for? The election is OVER. He could try governing instead - oh wait, that's not working out so well even with Republicans holding the entire Congress.

Trump's problem is that he's a whiny ***** who can't handle criticism.

Easier to hold rallies and bask in the glory of the good old campaign days - you know, back when there was no accountability for his mouth diarrhea.

But he already does give attention to the media, every time he opens his mouth or tweets "FAKE NEWS!" Every time he does that, we know he's desperately trying to deflect away from what is actually the truth. He thinks if he repeats it often enough that it'll become true. That's what we call "crazy".
