really? the temporary surgeon general is well qualified for the position, including the fact that she EARNED a PHD, which means that she can use the doctor moniker.

and since she is well qualified for the position, then either the democrats are objecting to her because she is a woman, or because she is black. which is it? or is it because she is a black female republican?

Actually, this is what happens when the Democratic candidate signs the Voting Rights Act and the Republican candidate is against it. This is also a case of what happens when the northern Democrats and southern Democrats split. Northern Democrats were the ones who championed civil rights while Southern Democrats were the conservative ones for their time, wanting to preserve segregation. They formed the Dixiecrats, and many of the Dixiecrats became Republicans in the 70s

Here we go with the "African Americans" are too dumb to know who to vote for".

Guess what, they WERE 100% republican until the New Deal and didn't become highly democratic until the voting rights act and great society and the civil rights movement. When the pubs implemented their "southern strategy" that was the final straw for the African Americans.

To expound upon this.......(since the OP's rant it worthless).......

Hillary Clinton's Southern strategy

We should note, northern blacks abandoned her which is why she lost. They did not come out in places like Detroit and Philly. They didn't vote for Trump which will continue many of the same programs that hurt those in inner cities but as you note, change takes time. The problem is, the options for change are greatly lacking here in the US.

France completely dismissed the major parties in their election.

I didn't see anything racist except for the partisan negative spin the OP connected to the article. Wait a minute. Is this yet another troll thread designed to spread hate and manufactured to fuel the hate? It feels like it's right out of Putin's propaganda play book. Rule number one: Rely on dissenting political groups in western countries for dissemination. Number two: Domestic propaganda is most important. Number three: Destroy and ridicule the idea of truth.

Spread the hate. Nice work comrades. Putin is a genius.

Country First. We must all unite to be strong. Stop the hate.

"Putin" is the very same thing you are complaining about.

Wait a minute. You are accusing Democrats of being racist, yet in the same breath, you imply that black people are too ill-informed to make an intelligent decision about which party to support?

That seems a little "off" to me.

The "Blacks are too dumb to know who to vote for" tactic is an example of racism as well. I see some conservatives employ this argument is covert ways.

The New Deal was the start. I would really zero in on the DNC of 1948. This is where a schism in the Democratic Party took place. Northern vs Southern, Pro-Civil Rights vs Segregationist. Many southern Democrats split from the Democratic Party and formed the Dixiecrats.

Election of 1964. Even with some of Johnson's stupidity, he signed the Civil Rights Act. Barry Goldwater was against it. Johnson was supported throughout most of the USA, except the Deep South states. He lost Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. Goldwater carried those states.

And before anyone tries to paint this as more Republican supported, region played a bigger part. Northern Democrats supported it more than Northern Republicans. But even Southern Democrats were more likely to support the bill than Southern Republicans.

The original House version:

Southern Democrats: 8–87 (7–93%)
Southern Republicans: 0–10 (0–100%)
Northern Democrats: 145–9 (94–6%)
Northern Republicans: 138–24 (85–15%)
The Senate version:

Southern Democrats: 1–20 (5–95%)
Southern Republicans: 0–1 (0–100%)
Northern Democrats: 45–1 (98–2%)
Northern Republicans: 27–5 (84–16%)

When did it become racism to say that a nurse is a nurse and not a doctor?
