It's still only 610 people that favored it. That represents about 2 movie theaters. It's not many people.

If conservatives refuse to accept a poll from a Dalls newspaper as factual, HERE ARE SOME QUOTES FROM REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS ON TRUMP'S WALL:

Quote:
“I don’t care at all as long as Mexico’s paying for it — it’s neither here nor there for me,” said Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.), whose state has a nearly 400-mile border with Mexico. “But if we’re paying for it, it’s a significant concern.”
Quote:
“It may not be possible to do everything we want to do by April 28,” said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.), noting the date through which the government is funded. Asked whether he supports constructing a wall, the second-ranking Republican senator said, “I support border security, but I think we need a little more definition of exactly what the plan is.
Quote:
Rep. Will Hurd (R-Tex.), whose district spans more of the border than any other, called a wall “the most expensive and least effective way to secure the border” in a January statement.

Boom.

Depends on who was polled, if the middle class was well represented, it is probably due to the fact that illegals due much of the gardening, landscaping, construction etc. in Texas and this helps(one of the factors) keep house prices low as well as other tasks. That only middle class lower middle class can afford. Also Texas is plurality Hispanic, although half are basically conservative white people with light brown skin in terms of beliefs. So that might have something to do with it.

This quote folks, is City-Data Winning 101. When you drown somebody with factual statements, and they can't refute anything you said, so they quote you with a response that completely changes the subject ....

THAT is when you know you've won the argument.

You should familiarize yourself with how polls and statics work. The 1000 people is what is called a sample size which, if done right is representative of whole the population. What, did you think when they run these polls they call millions of people to find out how they think about an issue?

"61% of Texans Oppose Border Wall"

I guess I would say I am surprised.
