Actually people are concerned about the same thing they would either way. What takes the entire Senate? AND House? (The house is being scheduled for later that day apparently).
And...why doesn't he go to congress? Why does he try and shoehorn them into the white house?
Because if he does it there (congress) word spreads immediately is my guess. Or...he is just that self centered. But I'd guess the former, and hope for the latter. With the other 2 carriers nearby though....yeah.

I don't know why he even needs to be at the meeting. Just let the smart guys fill in the Senate. He could have sent the head guys to the Senate. This is just more of Trump's hoopla productions and a chance to draw even more attention to himself.

and what a straight up 50,000 dead americans at the very least. and what about a dirty bomb revenge attack killing millions ...
and if you still dont care, understand our economy would take a massive hit, markets would dive and it would be at best 2008 all over again but this time with people much more angry.
Another data point. In addition to the carrier battle groups Nimitz, Reagan, and the Vinson the guided missile submarine USS Michigan is arriving in Korea tomorrow.
This is a serious amount of firepower, that can also be supplemented by the air force which has some serious firepower nearby as well..
