Those jeans , matching jacket, an Affliction shirt (two sizes to small) and some white framed sunglasses and you will win the douche nozzle of the year award !
Fashion is interesting. My theory is, because it is changing so fast, real good fashion ideas can't keep up and designers have to come up with the most ridiculous stuff just to get attention. Have you guys ever flipped through a fashion magazine or watched clips from a fashion show? nobody really dresses like that on a day to day cycle!
Also I see kids rocking the triangle, pyramid, one eye, etc clothing these days, mostly from the hip hop crowd. Some how it is cool to wear a brown tshirt, with a single freaking triangle in the middle and on the backside a weird looking Egyptian eye. How is that related to hiphop? lol
I think the 90s hiphop style of baseball caps and NBA jerseys make sense. City/local pride along with NBA, the favorite sport of most inner city kids. That makes sense, whether you like it or not.
Some don't see the political statement in $425 jeans, made for rich folks who can afford 'em, purchased so the wearer can pass for a man who works for a living???
I think the concept of such jeans is very funny, but the fact a company like Nordstrom would actually make fake muddy, grimy jeans with a matching $425 jacket, no less, speaks volumes.
People are not secure in who they are, so they are all about "image".
