There's nothing wrong with maternity leave, and Trump isn't against it either, but it can be a hardship for some companies, and there isn't anything wrong with acknowledging that. But it doesn't need to be extended to males, nor does it need to be made mandatory. It should be, as it has always been, a benefit that an employer may chose to provide, or not to provide, and a person can choose to accept that or not accept it and work for someone else. That's what freedom is about. If you'd rather live in a socialist country, be my guest. No one is preventing you from leaving.

There is no reason for us to be "like every other industrialized nation in the world," who are socialists, and there is a high price to pay for that socialism. I choose Liberty. But it's pretty obvious who has brainwashed you.

In most European countries, everyone goes "on holiday" at the same time of year too. Do you like that idea? Doesn't leave you with many options, and obtaining reservations might be difficult.

I remember when I worked in international sales and all our European rep.s would be "on holiday." Nothing happened for the two weeks they were out. No communications, no shipments, no L.C.'s being processed ...nothing happened!

Personally, I liked being able to choose when I would take my vacation each year, and my wife and I usually planed to take a week in the spring and one in the fall (and later when I qualified for 3 weeks vacation every year, I might take one at Christmas time).

Wow a bunch of butch "feminist" women and effete beta males in the west boo her, what a shock. In China, a part of the world that still likes women who are feminine she is very popular

"The president's daughter is increasing her popularity among people in China. One of the online fan clubs on website Weibo refers to her as 'Goddess Ivanka'

Experts says her popularity is because she is seen as 'friendly' towards China Her father's brand may be struggling for popularity in the US, but Ivanka Trump is cultivating a cult following in China. An online fan club on the website Weibo, which is similar to Twitter, even refers to the president's daughter as 'Goddess Ivanka'.

What does that have to do with arguing against her being a feminist?

Is that the standard for Trump being a good dad -- at least he supported his family.

Okay

That's on you.

My guess would be because Michelle Obama was not given a position in the West Wing as senior advisor to the president, along with one of her relatives. Nor did she sit in on any of the president's official meetings with heads of state or industry.

Moreover, if you take a look at the recent polls--Trump's base is solidly behind him. And yet 65% of those polled do not approve of the Jared/Ivanka co-president thing.

So apparently even some his loyal 'he-can-shoot-people' following does not approve of the nepotism.

sorry mate but you clearly dont understand what you are talking about.

Germany is rich powerful and dominates the EU. They set the tone for international trade agreements with the EU . The EU is the second largest economy in the world they sure as hell matter. The only reason you say they don't matter is to support Trump. You are not even trying to discuss the matter at hand instead you are simply cheering on Trump and ignoring the damage Trump and his admin are doing.

just look at Trump's admin today. They are starting a trade war with CA. Not because of what they did but because they handle it like ham fisted fools. Today they are insulting Canadians, claiming they are "dumping". (hint it is clear CA is NOT dumping a damn thing)

There is no "Jared/Ivanka co-president 'thing'"

And, the two sources you cited are just laughable! Cosmopolitan? Please. And CNN is a joke ...the mother of all "fake news."
