A US judge has blocked Trumps attempt to withhold funds from sanctuary cities. The news is unfolding, but evidently the cities are "entitled" to federal funds even if they do not co-operate with ICE.

This will be overturned in SCOTUS.
Federal judges have way too much power.
It's not up to states to enforce federal law in real life, federal cops don't order state and local police around and do their bidding without a court order.
