Since when is cursing part of the norm? 6th article down the link.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~
IN THE MEDIA
IN PRINT - What the hell is going on? That's what Politico wants to know, as it seems Democrats are cursing like crazy in the media. In just one New York Magazine article, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) included one "****," two "****ing"s, one "bull****," one "pissed off," and one "they suck." DNC Chairman Tom Perez says "If you don't have the trust of the community, then you ain't got ****," telling a New Jersey Working Families Alliance event in March that Republicans "don't give a **** about people." Last week, Democrats.org started selling "Democrats give a sh*t about people" shirts. Perhaps it's an effort to connect with constituents; one poll revealed 25 percent of adults admit to saying "****" at least once a day, up from 15 percent a decade ago. Damn.
EVERYONE curses more than in the past now.
50 years ago, no one would ever see 'pissed off" in print. Or hear it in polite society.
What's happening is just a return to how Americans have always spoken. Since we speak in print now more than in voice- texting is preferred over speaking into cell phones- it's only natural more cussing will be seen in the printed word.
Americans have always sworn up a blue streak. Politics is no different in that respect. The Republicans are just as potty-mouthed as the Democrats; there is boundless evidence of both, and new evidence comes every day from both parties and their affiliates.
Hahahahahaha. We have a so-called president who is being sued for inciting a riot, who screamed get them the hell out of here many many times, has insulted everyone and anyone, and has been far ruder than any other president in history, but people are complaining about Democrats' language? Hahahahahaha.
Not fake news--just insignificant news.
One minute the right-wing accuses the Left of being too politically correct.
Next minute the right-wing accuses the Left of cursing too much.
Right-wing logic. There is none.
