I say whatever helps them obtain that degree is a good thing. I sure wish I had a bachelor's degree. I probably should have screamed in a pillow too, rather than numbing myself with alcohol and freebase.
Sigh, college kids have been doing this for decades, in a very organic fashion. It happened every quarter at my undergrad campus, during finals week, when some douche would starting screaming from a dorm room window, until others joined. Lasted about 15 mins. no harm, no foul. The only difference is now it's scheduled. Whatever.
What's up with the conservatives' obsession with college students lately??
