This is really funny because....it's not really that big of a deal....
But because Trump made such a fuss about buying American and hiring American.....yet he had some of out most powerful politicians riding on non-American vehicles.
Now, I'm aware that the contract to procure those buses was probably done before Donald took office, but who cares. Donald didn't "fix it." LOL
What do you expect? Europeans are big on rail and bus travel, have more demand and make more and better buses.
US manufacturers are more into yellow school buses and minibuses.
And short buses. They are the ones the future Democrats ride to school on
And when they rode back they wondered why they had been invited in the first place. Apparently they learned nothing they didn't already know.
Exactly. It was nothing but a publicity stunt orchestrated by Trump. He wanted to show power to the Senate by forcing them to go to the WH. Another reason it was held at the WH is this important issue....
Because they were at the WH, only pre-chosen Senate members could ask questions. The WH pre-selected these question askers ahead of time. Had the meeting occurred at the originally planned location, the WH wouldn't have be able to pre select the question askers. You see, Trump wants to restrict who can ask questions. He just did this to the US Senate - he silenced them (if not hand picked ahead of time by the WH) from asking questions by bussing them to the WH.
All of this BS must be true, you just can't make this stuff up.
