We have Trump because those like yourself that do not care. Some of us do and refused to vote for four more years of it with Hillary.
Who cares? I'm not an Obama fan and wouldn't go hear him speak but if he can make money giving speeches, more power to him. He's perfectly within his rights to give speeches, write a book and sell his story to Lifetime if he wants.
This is a non issue ever for those of us who disliked him as a president.

It is really no BIG deal...... nothing like railing against a group and blaming them for lots of things and now speaking and taking their cash. Was that just a front for his base? After all, we knew he was working with Wall Street, while his base believed, otherwise.
Actually based on questionnaires the youth of today are looking for something far more socialist, as they feel that capitalism is failing them. And they're not wrong. The mind boggling levels of inequality point to it. Part of that is massive crony capitalism thats built up year after year.
Capitalism is great, but it seems like we've gotten a long long way from it, and when you inject it into our government, it just gets worse. Electing a businessman is not helping.
Trump needs at least 2 years. Let's see where we are in 2 years. The rotten system wasn't built in 100 days and it's going to take a lot more than 100 days to start improving it.
Was he forcibly removed from office for incompetence? No.
Did he have some kind of financial corruption scandal, like the kind that dogs Trump? No.
Did he have some kind of sexual scandal, like Trump's harassment accusations? No.
Did he have some kind of all-time level low in approval ratings, as Trump does? No.
So what "disgrace" are you imagining? The "disgrace" of someone wanting to pay a lot of money for his presence?
I know that Elizabeth Warren is "troubled" by Obama's getting $400,000 for a speech. But, you know, technically, Obama is unemployed, and presumably does not have such wealth as Bush had to fall back on, or as much as Trump imagines he has. Is there any reason he shouldn't get as much as someone is willing to pay? Is there any earthly reason why he should have said, "Oh, no, just $500 for my travel expenses is fine"? Given the way the business world works, a lesser fee would only lessen their respect for him. It's absurd for you to think anything else.
