Can't say that I blame her. She took a lot of crap from the right, put up with a lot of racist garbage, and did it all with grace and class. Two concepts that are sorely missing in the current administration. No out outside of right wingers ever thought she would run for political office anyway. She has been pretty adamant that she had no interest, and I always believed her.
That said, the country would be lucky to have her.

Lucky to have a string of 3 unqualified Presidents in a row? I don't think so.
And Michelle Obama always looked very happy to me when FLOTUS. She appears to be basically a happy person who enjoys her life and family and wishes to continue to do so.
Is this better? The actual facts help. Why should someone who is not using their law license keep up with the CLE credits, requiring hours of classes and pay bar fees? Being FLOTUS was a full-time job for Michelle.

Michelle Obama did not “voluntarily surrender” her law license; she requested that her license be placed on “inactive” status. The difference is crucial: a lawyer who has surrendered his law license has given it up and therefore no longer has a license; a lawyer who has gone on inactive status still holds a valid law license but is not currently engaged in any professional activities that require it to be active..."
