But to say what he said in a public, televised setting....how is that appropriate!?

Truth is always appropriate.

I seem to recall this really cool dude - carpenter, Jewish, long hair - having something to say on that subject. What was his name, again?

When someone says, "Checks in the mail," there is no reason to pester the mail carrier.

When someone says, "I'm a great lover. really the best ever," grab your car keys and head for the door because it is going to be an underwhelming experience.

And when someone carries on about being a "good Christian," you can bet it's all for show and sooner or later they will try to scam you out something.

I swear christian democrats and christian republicans were brought up differently. Catholic schools taught me to love and accept everyone because we were all god's children. We were told not to judge. Maybe democrats were taught the ways of the new testament where god was all loving and good. And Republicans were taught the old testament where god was pretty evil and vindictive.

Safe to say he won't be scouted for acting anytime soon.

It was so fake, I sort of felt sorry for him.

Wouldn't be surprised if even Jesus cringed.

Another politician confused with regard to the tenants of his professed religion. Makes me sick, but that's the way of the phonies walking bent over from the weight of that cross around their neck..Jesus would tell us to forgive this kind of bias, but even Jesus knew the potential dangers from those who weren't who they appeared to be. Time to drain that Texas swamp...
