Trump never said it. You're being conned. Played. Lied to. Manipulated.

Agreed.

The US could probably do with a similar system to Prime Minister's Questions (PMQ's).

All you get in the US are committees or press conferences, the latter usually hosted by the White House Press Secretary.

I know, I know. If you say I think that, you can avoid debate. It's typical here.

I stand by what I actually said. He's saying that the rules of the senate are stopping people like him from getting things done, and that's a bad thing. Again, this is what I wrote but if you argued based on what I actually felt, you might actually have to think about what you say... and we can't have that.
Maybe you've forgotten what you wrote in post 63, but that's ok. You now know Trump never said the Constitution is archaic.

Trump never talked about checks and balances to the Executive Branch. If he did, then quote him, otherwise you are just making stuff up.

He never talked about checks and balances against the Executive Branch either, but that has not stop the dozens of lame posts here claiming he did.

This is the ultimate way to blame someone or something else for his own failures. Much better than blaming liberals, democrats, or even republicans! Yay!

"Donald Trump has blamed the US constitution for the problems he has encountered during his first 100 days in office.
In an interview with Fox News to mark the milestone, the Republican called the system of checks and balances on power “archaic”.
“It’s a very rough system,” he said. “It’s an archaic system … It’s really a bad thing for the country.”"

How is a Constitution of property owners, by property owners, and for property owners - imposed on citizens without property without their advice or consent - even morally legitimate?

Governments in US are very good at avoiding Questions from Peons.

Our local town government meetings have a Public Comment feature. It is decidedly NOT for Public Questions.

Trump doesn't care about the Constitution, or about Congress, or the Courts, all he cares about is satisfying his childish ego and winning at all costs: (new tweets)

( if you wanna know what people mean when they say FAKE NEWS, this is the epitome of it )
You are sooo right... this is fake news. The truth must be that trump doesn't really want to have ultimate power, would never do away with checks and balances if he could, and he never, ever, no matter what, blames anyone but himself for his failures. <sarcasm>
