China just imposes the annual 3-month (extended from 2-month last year) fishing ban in South China Sea. It starts from today. This year it is stricter than ever. Only fishing pole is allowed.

But fishing in far away West African coast is not banned. It sounds like "Beggar thy (distant) neighbor" policy.

China has a seasonal fishing ban each year. If other countries don't have it, it's not really China's problem per se.

We have an Asian carp problem on the Mississippi River threatening the Great Lakes watershed and they love fish so lets catch'em and export them back!

Most fishable stocks will be gone thru either overfishing or climate change, seafood will have to be farm raised in the future.

It's quite simple folks: too many humans = huge pressure on natural resources.

So far, China is the only nation that actually enacted policies to curb human population growth. And they were criticized harshly for doing it.

That was more for their own selfish interests than actually caring about the rest of the world. They had no choice really. China only does things for its own selfish interests. This is always the case no matter what subject you want to look at. They were criticized because they were killing girls through infanticide due to their stupid primitive beliefs and theories and how they value boys more than girls. I think the Muslim countries might actually be more evolved than China and that's saying something.

China's going to suck the planet dry. What's left of it, anyway.

So what? Are they breaking the law? Chinese people shouldn't be allowed to eat fish? What's the point here?

God I hate China so much I wish North Korea would launch a few nukes at them...and help the world out.
Again, did they break any laws? So what they are taking all the fish?

For a few fish, you are willing to nuke a few million people?! You are advocating GENOCIDE!

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?
