The cops answer millions of calls every day. A relatively small handful of them lead to killing the person. That handful includes justified shootings. Calling the police a racist criminal organization is a lie. If you also look at the statistics between black on black murder compared to blacks shot by cops, black people are murdered at a far higher rate by other blacks. In 2016, blacks committed six thousand murders, most of those murdered were other blacks. The cops shot two hundred and twenty eight black people. That means black people murdered twenty six times as many black people as the cops did. For all their prattling, the anti police movement never says a word about the thousands of black people murdered by other blacks and thousands more that are shot by other blacks.
Anyone that even attempts to justify or defend this in any way is just as big of a POS as all the police officers involved in the shooting and cover up. End of discussion.
I am just waiting for the day that people chime in to tell us its not about race when the topic is out of wedlock births, crime, welfare, etc. Anything that shows blacks being treated unjustly or wrongly.....people try to make it seem universal and not about race. However, when we are talking about things like welfare, crime, out of wedlock births......people don't mind those things being about race.
Boy oh boy, I can't rep you, but you knocked it out of the park with this one.
It's never about race/ethnicity/etc., until the criminal(s) is black, Muslim, etc.
This incident certainly appears ugly, but the police are not evil. We're talking about a million police officers nationwide, that have billions of police interactions annually & an extremely small % of shootings, the vast majority of which are justified. You must learn to separate emotion from the equation to see the big picture.
Regardless of how old the boy was in the picture used by the news, he's still dead.
And the officer still lied about what happened. Thank goodness body cams were invented, the video proves that the cop lied about what happened. Otherwise he would've gotten away with murder.
He will probably still get away with murder.
No matter if he is fired, cops usually don't get a murder charge to stick due to being able to claim being afraid for their life - something civilians can not use to get away with murder over 95% of the time.

RIP, Jordan.
Brutally honest, but I agree.
The facts are already out. The Chief of Police already said that the video directly refutes what the cop said happened. THE COP LIED AND GOT CAUGHT. If it wasn't for the bodycam video, the cop would've gotten away with murder. He has already been fired and will probably go to jail for a long time.
Yet some people are still somehow trying to defend him....which is both disturbing and sad.
