The scary thing, at least to me, is they are handing the pubs a super majority in 2018. IF (I hate ifs) that happens all bets are off. They'll be able to ram through anything they wish just as the dems did in 2010, and we are all paying the price for that 7 years later.
This country needs a balance of power to work properly. At least the pubs are fighting amongst themselves and attempting to make their bills better. The dems, on the other hand, are just lockstep drones playing to their shrinking (and mostly extreme) base.

I don't know where you live or who they were, but that's a slogan used by libertarians, not liberals. It originated in Europe and has been around for a long time.

As long as the republicans dont cave in on immigration we will see more crushing and annihilation of the Democrats in 2018. Democrats are defending 25 seats as compared to just eight for Republicans and it gets worse, alot worse for Democrats.
Of the 25 seats they are defending, 10 of them are in states that Donald Trump won. Five of those 10 -North Dakota, Missouri, Montana, West Virginia and Indiana are states Trump carried by double digits. Only one Republican ,Dean Heller of Nevada represents a state that Hillary Clinton won last November.
The repubs may be looking at a supermajority, having control of the House, you could have a filibuster-proof Senate majority that would give President Trump the ability to push through legislation and approve appointees like a Supreme Court nominee with Democrats powerless to stop him.
The dems just dont understand the power of issues like border security, immigration, job outsourcing and globalism etc has, not to mention a very isolated DC/Hollywood/manhattan media that does a great deal of harm

Aside from those 2 specific ones that you're extrapolating way out of line... everyone knows what liberals have stood for for ages. It sounds more like you're late to the party.

Anarcho-capitalists hold this view and they are as right wing as you can get. Liberals not so much.
