If they pass our stringent vetting process and are not deemed a threat to our country, I don't see why not.
I'm appalled so many voted no. Do you not remember what our country stands for? For those who voted no, would you actually vote no if you had family or friends in S. Sudan who actually need to come here for their own safety!?
The civil unrest in S. Sudan is terrifying and innocent lives are being slaughtered just because the two fighting parties want to reduce the amount of recruits the other parties can tap into.... truly sick and sad!
If the US let everyone in who was having a hard time in other countries, our resources would be flooded and we'd quickly resemble a third world country ourselves.
We already accept many refugees from African countries, particularly the Congo. It's pretty brutal what I going on in Sudan, I don't see an issue. Surprised we accept so few.
