Please read this....

http://www.darlingtonwi.org/Immigration.pdf

There is very little local law enforcement can do at this point in time, until the Feds change the laws....(at least for the area my son works in)

If you stop someone due to a traffic violation, and If they are illegal that is different....however you cannot
arrest them on suspicion that they are undocumented, but you can of course arrest them for a traffic violation. Unless like my son said, there is an agreement between certain areas and the Feds.

You must have that agreement in your area.

AGAIN, if we ARREST a suspected illegal and there are factors that they might be illegal we can investigate and then call the feds

These are not hard and fast rules

So you catch 1% while the overwhelming majority continue to abide by other laws and go to work each day.

Reputed gang member charged in shooting of 2 Chicago cops - Chicago Tribune

Reputed gang member arrested. He's allegedly a member of the La Raza gang, home grown in Chicago (not to be confused with the political extremist groups calling themselves la raza).

From what I read that particular area of Chicago, "Back of the Yards," is particularly violent with a lot of shootings. Four notorious mostly Latino gangs fight against each other in that area, using the most deadly rifles available.

Typical night there apparently, sounds like freaking Iraq

Then DO THEM. This is what I am saying needs done. One guy gets stopped with no I.D. You got one guy. Raid a business you might get 50 and you address the reason many come in the first place.

When do you think that will happen?

When will we do that? They could be doing that right now but all we hear is WALL WALL WALL. Screw them, do your job.
