Stan, these people could care less that people like me and you are paying a lot of money (me, $920 a month) for lousy healthcare insurance. If they did give a damn they would be in agreement that something has to be done to bring down premiums.

I completely agree that something needs done. The odds that it is this are very slim.

Please, tell me what you won here.
The right to purchase catastrophic only if you want it. Which is what many people need and is much cheaper.
The right to not purchase insurance if i don't want to.

There are some controls to protect those with preexisting conditions. How good they are I don't know.

Nancy Pelosi claims that this is a transfer of wealth. LOL. How can you transfer wealth from people who don't have enough money to pay insurance premiums themselves.

Whatever Democrats claim believe the opposite.

I can say with absolute confidence my hand was nowhere near your pocket, nor could there be any reason short of a suicide wish that would induce me to do so...

Incidentally, I'm doing quite well in the finance department without need of yours or anyone else's assistance, thank you very much.

Many people DO feel that they are paying too much, and many have been saying changes need to be made to the ACA. A repeal and replace was not needed.

This bill, if passed by the Senate, will only hurt more Americans.

Most of those who voted for this did so because that is what there constituents wanted.

Only thing I control is my reaction.

Not enough factual information is known.

No telling what the Senate will do with it.

Then it's back to the House.
