Drug prices are high in the USA BECAUSE TeamObama sold us out to give Big Pharma BIG Profits and to get their endorsements.

Exactly. Health insurance stock and big pharma stock value exploded after Obamacare became law, so I can't understand why republicans hate it so much. They usually love anything that helps the stock market. It's only because it has Obama's name on it, and he isn't white.

Cultists cannot be reasoned with. They think America is perfect like a God or something, and Americans (at least the white ones) can do no wrong, so there is no need to change the way things are. Same mentality with the slave-era era southerners. They would have never ended slavery on their own, it literally took an army (the north) to force them to put and end to the practice once and for all. If it were up to them slavery would still exist in America to this day.

Think about a 60-65 year old couple, arthritis, cholesterol maybe a little kidney failure working in.How much will their Healthcare cost even if they are in an employer plan.

Young married couple, appendicitis, a couple of minor spot injuries and of course the possibility of pregnancy, they too are in an employer plan just how much will their plan cost

I see the Insurance companies rip off starting as soon as they can.

I think the bill is purposely designed to fail, they just want it out of the House, the good news is we still get to accuse them of trying to kill granny in 2018.

Well let's stop and think about that for a moment. Are all doctors refusing medicare? Seems kinda stupid if they are because there are so many more medicare patients than any other demographic. Why haven't we been hearing a lot from that demographic being refused by Doctors.

Obviously Dr's refusing medicare patients is not happening in the numbers you suggest it is.

Also why can Dr's opt not to take medicare patients....well, because there's that pesky insurance rape model they can opt to use instead that's why! Remove that option for them to rape and pillage you et-voila they'll be accepting medicare patients in a heartbeat.

The rest of the first world developed countries have long ago figured this out but the U.S. being the U.S. is ....well.......behind.

Big pharma has you by the cojones with collusion from those supposed to represent your best interests over their own. How's that going for you so far?

There is a saying about insistently trying the same thing over and over again expecting different results and what problem it is used to define.

Some doctors prefer not having to deal with certain demographics of patients which is often the underlying reason they don't accept medicare. The poor, elderly, minority, etc. who tend to be on medicare. It may not necessarily be due to racism. For example many hispanic patients speak little or no English, are low-income and on medicare so a white doctor who speaks English-only may find them difficult to work with due to the language barrier. So they don't accept medicare. That's their choice.

But there are plenty of hispanic doctors around who do accept Medicare and can better communicate with their spanish-speaking patients, and they are not hard to find.

I was one of those people before I turned 65. Even back then (pre-ACA) individual health insurance was cost prohibitive if you were 60 or had a pre-existing condition.

Because it is not a health care bill.

It is a tax cut for the wealthy bill.

This bill turns the 115th congress of the United States into a 'death panel'.
