Ttle while certainly won't hurt. The Republicans have nothing to lose by slowing down.
If the bill passes and it's a bad one, the Republicans will get blamed for passing a law even worse than Obamacare and that would be really bad for them. If the bill fails, they will be blamed for jumping the gun again. The only way they win is if they pass a bill that is far better than Obamacare right now, which is very unlikely. They are risking alienating even their own constituents with this approach.
The Senate will do exactly what you wish for - they will slow it all down.

Some doctors prefer not having to deal with certain demographics of patients which is often the underlying reason they don't accept medicare. The poor, elderly, minority, etc. who tend to be on medicare. It may not necessarily be due to racism. For example many hispanic patients speak little or no English, are low-income and on medicare so a white doctor who speaks English-only may find them difficult to work with due to the language barrier. So they don't accept medicare. That's their choice.
But there are plenty of hispanic doctors around who do accept Medicare and can better communicate with their spanish-speaking patients, and they are not hard to find.
My PCP doesn't take medicare and they told me it was mainly because of the red tape behind it.

Trump has removed penalties for not joining, pulled advertising, sued over subsidies and is about to remove them. All this adversity has created turmoil in the markets, so stop making believe they have done nothing.

So . . the Nancy Pelosi comment has been taken out of context for YEARS. You cannot compare 17 months of Obamacare hearings - YES - there were hearings and NUMEROUS changes made to satisfy Republicans AND a CBO score with the travesty that the Republicans just passed. Talk about a CRAMDOWN on a 100% partisan vote. Hell, some republicans wouldn't even vote for it.
If you were watching - many of them admitted on camera that they had not read the bill. They didn't give a tinker's damn what was in it - they wanted a WIN AT ANY COST.
And . . let's take the Democrat response which I wasn't crazy about either. And let's compare that to HAVING A KEGGER on the White House grounds to laugh and celebrate about 24 million people losing healthcare coverage.
PLUS - Insecure Trump had to have anything he could call a 'win' now.

It was crammed through solely for Trump's ego, and he could care less who it affects or how. He has no idea what is in it. Holding a garden party to celebrate legislation passing in one chamber is unheard of and rather stupid, but that simply reflects how desperate Trump & Co. were.
This has been a GOP campaign promise for years and they didn't want to be embarassed during the upcoming recess by constituents asking why they haven't gotten anything accomplished. There hasn't been time to read, debate, get a CBO score on the bill so hopefully no one bothers to ask them WHY they voted or WHAT it's going to do, they just want to be able to say they passed a bill to repeal Obamacare, period.
Let's see how many of those sniveling cowards hold meetings with constituents while on recess. They won't be able to defend the bill, because they haven't read it.
Things will get pretty ugly, but highly entertaining.
I see most of them are not holding town halls. Cowards!
