The fact is that the healthcare bill DOES allow rape to be a pre-existing condition. Because the consequences of rape is bad for the profits of the health insurance sharks. Just because it wont affect the majority of the American population doesnt make it fear mongering stupidity.
I am a supporter of Medicare-for-all which eliminates this type of horror show, but at least Obamacare made this illegal ANYWHERE in the country.

I read the article. Your Texas education has failed your reading comprehension. This has already come to pass, and there's risk of it happening again when States are allowed to opt-out of pre-existing conditions protections.
My guess is they'll also push for exchanging coverage across State lines so most of your insurance companies will HQ in States that don't have these protections and will undercut more expensive insurers from States that do have to cover pre-existing conditions.
