If the Senate passes it, it will be the utter end of republicans if those numbers are accurate.

Your "anyone" describes Paul Ryan. He's reveling in what he's thinking is a dream come true. He's now visualizing getting to toss Granny onto a floe of ice and push her out to sea. But, the Senate will throw a monkey-wrench into his plans. They may diddle around with their own version of the legislation so long, they may never produce anything.

The ACA gives Medicare beneficiaries free preventive screenings such as mammograms and colonoscopies. The law also implemented an annual free wellness visit. Also, the ACA helped close the "donut hole" which was a gap in the Part D drug plan. I wonder how the new plan will impact Medicare beneficiaries.

So although the ACA is not a plan for seniors over 65, there were some improvements to Medicare that might be taken away.

If this passes, this is the greatest gift a Democrat party in shambles could wish for. The Democrats are a party in disarray, but now they may have Trumpcare. Trumpcare will probably all we will be hearing about in future elections if this passes.

Nationalism and populism, border security and doing something about massive illegal and even legal immigration, bringing back jobs and manufacturing and standing up against outsourcing and globalism, an america first foreign and trade policy, rebuilding americas infrastructure etc. were the issues that President Trump got elected on.

Interventionism in syria the middle east and north korea, American Health Care Act /Trumpcare, and this pathetic budget just revives the Democrat party. This is going to be a disaster for the Republican party and the President.

This has been exploding online. People are absolutely terrified of it. They're going to wake up from their party and realize the democrats weren't kidding when they sang goodbye. The Senate's pulling them out of the fire, but anyone who saw this is absolutely angry at them barring of course the psychopaths who only care for themselves.

And people are justifiably angry.

I don't think this will get very far as I don't believe that was their intention, the senate doesn't have any good ideas either. But you can bet the pictures of these congressmen in the rose garden celebrating kicking 20 million people off health care will be used for some time.

Trump needed to cut healthcare funding so he could free up $800B for the tax cut which as it currently stands goes primarily to the wealthy. This bill doesn't come close to addressing any of the deficiencies with the ACA like markets losing insurers, this was just a redistribution of money.

I'll tell you what an Obamacare supporter told me just prior to the election ... "just pay it and shut up!". You're not liking it so much are you?

And I doubt this is accurate, not enough options.
So you are admitting you are hypocrite and that this isnt about helping people but rather what is best for you ?????

You could have simply admitted that and not pretended to be on a crusade to actually find a system that worked best.

Maybe they should just abolish the whole idea of a government health care plan. They all stink and the government will never get it right.

Obamacrap was a complete disaster. Let it blow up under its own weight and when all the providers leave every state because they're going bankrupt, that's it. It's done.

Hard as they try, the new plan doesn't seem to be any better, so let's forget about the whole thing. It was better before the government stepped in and screwed up the entire system.

So you are aiming for some type of 1920 style witch doctor system?

This seems to be the agenda for the "get the government out of health care" crowd.

Sure, why not? If it hurts, rub some dirt on it. Problem solved.
