Should the House legislation be enacted, which is highly doubtful judging from the response of those in the Senate, the logical conclusion would be that there will be fewer available full time jobs.
The new bill would mean that health insurance premiums (outside of the work place), will be much more expensive for those over 50 and those with preexisting conditions.
Therefore, people who might have left the workplace due to wanting to work freelance, start a business or retire, will stay in their jobs for the health insurance, just as they did before the ACA. They will hang on to those full-time jobs simply for the health insurance. When you revert to a system that failed the first time, it will not do any better now.
Blaming the ACA for lack of employment (especially in dying fields like retail) is just an excuse.
