When you walk down the street or go to a mall or public park, do you watch the people who pass you by? I see men and women, young and old, and people from different races and cultures. This is my America.
However, when I saw the President today with the Republican House members standing with him in the Rose Garden, I wondered why Trump's America looks so different from mine.

Lets not kid ourselves though. The ruling class doesnt care about race. They care about class. Voting for people based on their skin color and not asking ourselves whether they are ready to stand up for the workers and the disabled against the big money ruling class is a recipe for continued slide towards a Mexican style plutocracy, rule by wealth.

Yeah, no kidding (as with the crowd at one of his rallies), not representing real life. And those being his typical supporters are of a particular bunch, not of the same background or social status he relates to or anything, though pretending he has empathy for and wants to help them, having always addressed as if THEY are the only ones he is concerned with, not ALL of America.

I posted links to images, since I don't know how to post photos..sorry.
There is a woman standing behind my representative in Congress/the congressman from my area (Kevin Brady...the bald/shaved headed guy) on the far left side of the photo....but alas, she is obviously overwhelmingly outnumbered. I live in The Woodlands, TX, outside of Houston. It is getting more diverse, but in the past some have used the derisive nickname 'The Whitelands'.
I live in Los Angeles. My America is even more diverse than your photo.
I'm often shocked by the people who show up for political rallies, particularly in the Midwest. I always wonder where they found all the white people. It seems weird to me anymore.

This is something I think about a lot. I look at the people making the laws now, and what their priorities are, and I feel like this is not my America.

One picture is real. The other is a propaganda piece.
