I think garden variety liberals are more interested in their own financial advancement and security. Liberals who can seriously afford to put their money where their mouth is - like, oh, say, George Soros - aren't really interested in helping the poor get ahead.

Inconvenient thing about poor people getting ahead is that when they do get ahead, they tend to develop the smug conservative sense of earned entitlement.

I'd bet they would do it IF they were guaranteed to reap all the financial benefits thereof, but all the freeloaders who didn't put up money for the wall would unfairly share in the benefits.

Blue states tend to have more expensive homes because people want to live there and often it is coastal and often there are geographical limitations. Red states deducting their state and local taxes also benefit. States like mine that fund our state in other ways get zero federal deductions.
Ignorance is bliss. If you choose not to deduct state and local sales tax that is your choice but your claim is not true.

Six of the seven states that do not have state income tax are red.

Many of these people are crazy philanthropists. But even with their vast money, the economy of scale is not there. I am not sure how charitable donations would affect equal pay though since employers do that...

Why don't YOU take a course in word comprehension and find out the difference between "limited" government and "free" of government.

Some of you get sillier and sillier everyday.

Then you wonder how you lost over 1,400 political seats since 2009!
