Let's hope not, because if that's the case we won't have any industry that matters left in the US and will be 100% dependent on China (etc) to supply our necessities.
That's infuriating on two levels: first, we won't be able to wipe or own backsides, and second is the notion that it's okay for some other country to deal with the pollution caused by our necessities, as long as we still get those necessities. So we don't even have the guts to deal with our own manufacturing process pollution. It's like hiring a hit man and claiming that it's okay because you didn't personally kill anyone. The pollution and environmental damage caused by fracking, pipelines, refineries, manufacturing, etc, is SO HORRIBLE (
), yet you have no problem driving down the freeway at 95 mph and guzzling ten plastic bottles of water per day. (
