Uh, excuse me! The day in 2008 when Barak Obama was inaugurated, Mitch McConnell met with other Republican members of Congress and together they agreed to "make Obama a one-term President." Thereafter they their best to stop anything he tried to do, including the Affordable Care Act, which passed without a single Republican vote.

So don't tell me about how the Dems aren't helping the Pubs!!

As Democrats channel their inner "resistance" and follow their leaders to the left, they may be sliding into irrelevance.

Senate Dems attempted to block the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch.. in doing so, they kicked themselves off their own playing field. The aftershock of this action will reverberate for a long time. Their action freed up President Trump to expand the field of potential nominees for the next Supreme Court vacancy. Liberal pundits continue to echo morbid rhetoric of Senate Democrats on Obamacare repeal. The same resistance will play out with tax reform, forcing the Republicans to pass a tax bill through reconciliation, requiring just 51 votes.

Just more resistance and morbid fear mongering from Democrats and it isn't working out so well for them.

Democrats like to imagine a country where every state is similar to California where the gasoline engine is nearly as dangerous as a rifle.

Neither do a bunch of rednecks who usually don't vote, but were swayed by a con man, constitute the opinion of a nation. Only a temporary blip (maybe 4 years - Thank God).
