If this were in a movie, you would think it was fiction and not realistic. But real life today produces events (and idiots) that are way beyond the imagination of fiction.

Middle-school student Zachary Bowlin didn't bring a gun to school. He didn't say the word gun. He didn't do anything wrong, or dangerous, to merit a 10-day suspension from Edgewood Middle School in Trenton, Ohio.
Bowlin "liked" a picture of a gun on Istagram. That's it. He didn't do this during school hours, with school resources, or on school property.
A 10 day suspension is ridiculous. In fact a suspension is ridiculous in this case. I don't blame the school for being cautious though but they were a little too "trigger" happy when it came to disciplining this student.
My evidence to support this statement is the picture. This is from 51 years ago. It is my 4th grade public school class celebrating "89'ers Day", an important day in Oklahoma history.
As you can see, we are playing with toy guns IN CLASS!! The school principal was dressed up in full Indian Chief garb. Can you believe we were PLAYING COWBOYS AND INDIANS IN SCHOOL???
My point is that it is not this generation of kids that are doing all the school, mall, and theater shootings. Just sayin'.
