Mueller. Spotless record. Non-partisan straight arrow. Dedicated public servant. How are Trump and Co. going to smear this guy?

In is interesting to observe how many people are all wrapped up in the Trump Russia investigation.

FBI agents
District attorney offices in Virginia and New York
New York State Attorney
Senate and House committees
DOJ special counsel
Internet conspiracy theorists
Dozens upon dozens of reporters
Thousands of part time internet sleuths
Judges
Grand juries

And some of you didn't think Trump would deliver on his jobs program.

I'm glad he's been so careful, there should be a whole trove of notes going back to the beginning of his tenure.
"according to many attorneys"? Maybe folks who advertise on bus benches. I think it is too early to comfort yourself with the thought that impeachment is off the table. Even so, Trump's already minimal ability to govern effectively is gone.

They will pursue any avenues that pertain to the investigation. It is really desperate to think that somehow this will backfire onto Obama. Maybe they will "lock up Hillary" too? LOL

Let's say you are correct. for fun. If this does NOT result in evidence against Obama coming to light, will that be proof that Obama is innocent of such allegations? Or just a whole lot more clever than The Donald?

Why are all the Trump supporters so eager to keep him and not move on with Pence and potential progress for your causes? Seems very short-sighted, keeping around a flailing self-destructive virtually lame duck, whose admittedly short record has been rather ineffectual. Isn't Pence, Trump without the baggage?

How would any one person know? is my answer to the first, an unstable & unhealthy emotional attachment to the man is my best guess.

Apparently many Trump supporters are either unwilling or unable to observe these, is my answer to the second.

It would seem that Mr. Pence is, in some observable ways, as you put it, "Trump without the baggage." This last question is the most interesting to me at this point. Mr. Pence is next in the line of succession. If he became President, the GOP would be forced to become the Party to put 'their money where their mouth is', so to speak. They have not evidenced effective reality-based ideas to bring much of anything to fruition. Their 'power' seems to lie in their impotence to do so, i.e. to 'conserve' or 'preserve' the status quo. The only folks who seem satisfied with the status quo are the oligarchical components, & they're self-satisfied mainly because their best interests are the ones being served.

One must first understand why Trump is " a lame duck" and who's short record has been "rather ineffectual". Could it be the constant "unnamed sources" and the constant bleat from the left calling him everything but a pedofile and the MSM parroting if not starting all of the bleating?

This whole special prosecutor and Comey mess could get very, very interesting for both sides as this special prosecutor knife can cut both ways...
It's going to be fun watching both parties eat their own, waiting for the guns and knives to come out on the floor of Congress...

No, that's not why.

He's a "lame duck" and "ineffectual" because he's a greedy pathological liar and now has the spotlight of the world shining on him. When he lies about things (crowd size, illegals voting, contacts with Russia) people immediately start fact-checking him. Then he doubles down and the fact-checkers go nuts. He has a very loose relationship with the truth and people are not going to just let the things he says go unchallenged.

He could have avoided all of this mess if he would just keep his mouth shut and do his job. But he does not seem to be able to do that. Like a child, he LOVES the attention--even the negative attention. He acts out like a child to keep the focus on himself.

Another reason the unnamed sources are going after him is that he runs roughshod over people and treats them like crap. A long list of former employees and associates will tell you that. Because he treats people poorly, he inspires no loyalty from anyone but his family. When staff care about you, they might look the other way when you do something questionable. When they think you'll throw them under the bus, they'll sell you out at the drop of a hat.

Trump is his own worst enemy, but the American people are paying for that.
