Bill Clinton fired FBI director Sessions in July of his first term in office for flying his daughter around on a FBI plane and using government money to fix up his house. Trump fires Comey for intentionally or inadvertently influencing the outcome of the Presidential election. Comey was either incompetent or corrupt neither of which are good attributes for an FBI director. Yet the left thinks he was perfectly capable of handing the Russia probe.
Nixon fired the special prosecutor brought in solely to investigate the Watergate scandal. It was well known at the time the prosecutor had the goods on Nixon. Nixon never fired the FBI director.

Patiently waiting for someone to post Comey's disagreement with Trump's comment, regarding Comey telling Trump three separate times that he was not under investigation.
Sessions who recused himself from the Russian investigation should not be involved in any actions to fire Comey.
