Divide America To Conquer America. It's working, and all too well... (Obama, lobbyists)

Politicians create a bad guy, sell the public on the bad guy existing and then promise to protect the people from the bad guy. May the best liar win. Divide and Conquer. Americans are so busy fighting among themselves they don't see politicians robbing the kitty blind by using our tax dollars to pay back their big donors.

The media knows this, too. They take two sides of an issue and "report" it. Americans tune in, get PO'd, begin to argue, set up sides and let the fights begin. And the media reaps the rewards while our country tears itself apart.

One only needs to look at what's "reported" here - a politician said this, a media agency said that. Immediately the fighting begins, the divide widens and more Americans are conquered. Today, it's on steroids.

So be careful what you believe. There's an old saying, "Believe nothing you hear, half of what you read and everything you see." Today, it's best to question everything.

If we want to unite as one, we have to stop believing the politicians, the media and any other source that tries to divide us. If you need a bad guy to hate - focus on the politicians and the media. They are who is tearing this country apart.

Are you talking about Trump when you say politicians?

Obama was supposed to bring us all together and offer hope to all the black kids out there that if they study hard they too could rise to amazing levels but what we got wasn't so good. Instead of leaving office with a positive feeling country Obama left us with black and white people hating the Police, questioning the laws of the land and lacking respect for authority.

I saw a clip on a Hollywood news show last night where a cute little black girl maybe 6 years old walks up to Trump and tells him he is a disgrace to the world. I wonder where she learned that?

The Dems are masters at the dividing and creating demons. The media plays right along by reporting nothing but the outrages and down playing the good.

The media is keeping the country on edge and the Dems are Ok with that since it will under mine Trump. There is a saying in Journalism "If it bleeds it leads" and with todays reporting if it isn't bleeding then poke it with a stick until it does.

I'm talking about ALL politicians and ALL "news" media.

This thread is about those people who tear America apart. Instead of going after your fellow American, we should be going after the people who make a living on us fighting by creating turmoil and dividing our country.

But apparently that's not what Americans care about. We just want to rip on each other and pretend like we're making a positive difference. And while we're ripping on each other, fat cats are sending lobbyists into the offices of our elected officials with suitcases full of cash. And our politicians are paying the fat cats back with our tax dollars.

If you're wondering why all the the new wealth has gone to the fat cats, it's because we buy the BS politicians and the media spew out and then fight like animals over the scraps. But apparently, if there isn't a liberal name-calling a conservative or a Republican dissing a Democrat, no one cares.
