There's plenty of men/boys with names that are typically considered feminine. Whitney, Leslie, Ashley, Francis, Carol, Lynn, Shannon, Stacy, Tracy, etc.

No. They were all male names FIRST.
Francis is a man's name. You think that guy in Assisi was named after a girl? There is a female version spelled Frances.
And, um, Ashley Wilkes ring a bell? Get in a time machine and go back even 40 years and try to find a girl named Ashley.
I've never understood giving a girl a name sending in -son, such as Madison or Allison.
Me, neither. Someone on one of these threads once stated that she thought Addison was the most beautiful, feminine name. Addison means "son of Adam". Further, it was a surname of a man for whom Addison's Disease is named. How is that feminine?

the OP said they feel sorry for the sweet little girl named grey. sounds more like criticism than curiosity to me.
Didn't that come from the movie Curly Sue? The lawyer/female love interest's name is Grey.
