And of those who DO vote, its about 1/3 R, 1/3 D, and 1/3 I. Trump cant win with just his supporters.

Plus the non stop nonsense is going t bring out the votes.

But in your alternative facts world, 38 or 18%, what's the difference?

Oh they'll be voting this time around. You can bet on it. Your orange god has motivated people in ways never before even heard of in this country to get out and vote. All sorts of people will be coming out of the woodwork to put an end to this travesty. We learned our lesson regarding complacency. And I can assure you it will not happen again.

Why do you think the Republicans try so hard to suppress votes? They know if everyone voted they would never even get close to a public office.

But nevermind. You already know what you believe.
Back to the tired "fake news" defense, huh? And no president has had such low approval ratings as Trump this early in his presidency. And it's all downhill from here too because historically approval ratings decrease the longer a president remains in office. They don't get better long term.

At this point, there's not much to love about Trump. Everything about him screams incompetence, arrogance, narcissism, dishonesty, and possibly even criminal behavior. Not exactly the pinnacle of what a POTUS should be.

Go to Gallup.com and look up each President's "daily" approval ratings. It's all there.

His absolute lowest was 38%. Average was 47.9%, and final was 59%
And that isn't really the relevant statistic anyway. You want to align the rates by time. President's are usually enjoying high ratings in these early months of a presidency. Trump is historically low.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...roval-ratings/

On this day in each presidency, Obama was at 61% approval, while Trump is at 41%.

Actually, they do matter. Especially to congress critters, to party organizations, and to potential candidates. And of course to Trump, who has guided much of his public life by TV ratings. Given how frequently he talks about them, I think they matter a great deal to him.

If Trump were more popular, you would see more Rs toeing Trump's line.

Keep in mind that the parties do their own polling, and those results are not made public.

Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval | Gallup

Where exactly? I'm genuinely curious, not trying to call you out. Please show where it dipped to 19%, if you know where the data is.

Are you looking at the disapproval line vs. the approval line? His disapproval was really low at the start (12%).
